GeoBuff exists to make geography genuinely fun to learn. We believe that understanding the world begins with knowing where things are — and that curiosity about places, people and cultures is worth nurturing at every age. Everything we build, from a thirty-second daily quiz to a deep dive into the flags of the world, serves that one goal: helping people see the world a little more clearly, one question at a time.

Quality, for us, means more than a polished interface. It means questions that are accurate, fairly worded and genuinely worth answering — because a single wrong answer can quietly erode the trust that learning depends on. We would rather publish fewer questions and get them right than chase volume at the expense of accuracy.

It also means respecting your time. GeoBuff is built to feel fast and frictionless whether you are playing on your phone during a commute or on the big screen at home, so the experience never gets in the way of the learning.

Diversity

We aim to create trivia questions, build quizzes and share resources that represent people, places and cultures from all over the world.

The world is not evenly represented in most geography resources, and we work to change that. Our quizzes cover every country and national flag — not just the ones that make the headlines — so smaller nations and less-travelled regions get the same attention as the largest.

Diversity also shapes who gets to take part. GeoBuff is available in ten languages, so learners can explore the world in the language they think in, rather than the one we happen to default to.

Challenge

Learning is more fun when you're pushing yourself. We want to deliver content that challenges our users so they can incrementally improve over time.

We design for the moment just past your comfort zone: hard enough to make you think, achievable enough to keep you coming back. A fresh Daily Trivia set every day gives regulars something new to test themselves against, while themed quizzes let you go deep on the regions and topics you care about most.
